Games randomly crash.

I have this issue with random games , the screen starts tearing (black lines appear everywhere like slashes or sometimes big black pixels appear everywhere) after which the game freezes and after about 10-15 seconds blue screen appears.
I just can't figure what the cause is because its so random , latest game to crash is Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm , last I entered it didn't last 2 seconds and it crashed. And other games like Guild Wars 2 which have way bigger requirements ( I play guild wars 2 on medium and even so fps is low) never crash.
Any help would be nice.

Computer specs? have you tried V-Sync?

Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E7400 2.80 GHZ
2k RAM
Nvidia geforce 9600 gt
Windows 7
Sound - Realtek HD Audio
If I missed anything tell me.

Yeah I tried setting everything to low and off what I could , I even went in the Nvidia control panel and turned everything off for Starcraft 2. I'm giving this as an example because its the only game doing it right now.

Do you have all the latest drivers for your system? Make sure you have the correct Nvidia drivers, and all your chipset drivers are up to date
