Hi,
I am trying to build a computer that can handle 1080p video, multitasking and some gaming. Most of the games I would be playing would probably be older titles and Starcraft 2. My question is, that I was looking at which processors/graphics cards to buy. I came across the A10 - 5800k and understand that it can crossfire with a graphics card, the 6670 being the highest compatibility. I'm not really sure what crossfire is, but I understand it to be combining two graphics cards and if certain games support crossfire, then it would appear as one graphics card, is this correct?
For about 200 bucks I could get a A10 5800k + 6670.
My question is - would this be able to handle newer game titles and would this be a good bang for my buck OR should I consider just buying another AMD processor non APU with a discrete graphics card? I am only buying an AMD processor, no intel. I'd like to play most game @ 1080p resolution, especially SC2.
Thanks for any help!
