So Im currently in the process of upgrading my rig. Manage to get a GTX 670 SC to start and already purchased 3 Asus 23.6 Monitors with HDMI and 2ms. So Im looking to go on SLI at the end of this year and also get a new sound card as Im looking for a full upgrade. Yes I know its a lot of money and people may consider it a waste but Im really into making my build unique. So anyways, the motherboard I was looking at is the ASUS Maximus V Extreme LGA 1155 as its the one I find more for my likes.

I was wondering if this motherboard will support 2 GTX 670 SC 4GB and the Creative Sound Blaster Z Series ZXR. Im worried about the space between the 3 cards, well 4 as the Sound Blaster has 2 separate cards.

My powersupply is a Coolermaster Silent 1000W. If I need to upgrade it then tell me too. Im currently on the i7 2600K with an H60 cooler and going to upgrade my Raidmax Blackstorm middle tower to Thermaltake LV 10 GT Full tower.

Between April and May Im looking to get the case and motherboard. After that on June and July will be the sound card and a new set of speakers which right now Im looking for options. Thanks!

Cause there's plenty of good boards for half what those premium boards go for. They aren't worth twice the price; won't last twice as long. If you're one of those rare individuals who will use all of the features of the Maximus V, then I would buy it. But you may be disappointed if it doesn't last several years.

So that motherboard is not reliable? It seems part of the reviews were right. Im just looking for a motherboard with a lot of space for 2 graphic cards and a heavy sound card. I dont want it to be all drown up in a small one.
