Okay ill clear this up first I am currently wanting to build a Gaming setup based off the Intel I-7 Processor and before I started to buy the parts I thought I would ask for a lot of personal advice with computers as I am fairly new to building them.

The PC Build i currently have is http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/LlM4 The Link will provide you with CPU MOBO ect. The Case i have is from Overclockers and has USB 3.0 compatibility along with Watercooling.

So from the website provided from above would you guys say its a Fairly Decent Processor 2 run games such as Diablo 3 Borderlands 2 ect. but be able 2 shift between gaming and work with ease.

On a Side Note I am not going 2 go 2 a AMD

You have a laptop HDD. Switched it out for a 1tb 3.5" HDD for a little cheaper. 16gb of ram is too much, grab 8gb instead. I would say you don't need a sound card, as the motherboard's built in sound card is pretty good already. You don't need such an expensive wifi adapter imo. A single 7970 ghz edition beats crossfire'd 7870 ghz. The fact that it'll take up less watts since it's a single card and has no chance of micro-stuttering is a huge plus. You can also crossfire it later on in a couple of years when it starts getting out-dated.
Something around this setup:

It's not a fairly decent processor, it's basically the best. If I was you I'd rather get a 7970 and maybe one more if you can afford it. One should be able to run those games fine. What FPS and resolution are you aiming for?
