today i tried to play bad company 2 again, and the fps dropped. it wasn't during gameplay, or something temporary, it was just running on 37-39 fps instead of the regular 60 i'm usually getting. the only change i made in this pc was installing a new driver, but i got the old one back and there's still no change. this doesn't happen in the campaign although there are parts where the fps drops. i don't know what happened but it really pisses me off.
specs:
radeon 6850 1GB
8GB ram
550 PSU
FX-4100 4.1 Ghz
win. 7 64 bit
please help me! thanks!

temps are not high, they are between 60-64 degrees Celsius. besides, i can run other games just as i could before. in fact, i just tried playing bf3 with v-sync off, and the result was an average 65-70 so i think a hardware problem is not my case. thanks for the reply!

Hover or right click on the game, and there should be a "repair install"

If not, just re-install the game

Alright, yeah that repair install must only be for bf3. but yeah, let me know if the reinstall works

i tried to contact origin live help but they keep transferring me to developers and then the call drops. tried 4 times already and they keep doing that, really annoying. could it be internet? i was having some issues with the internet lately, so could that be it?
