Here is my computer specification:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02629593&cc=us&destPage=document&jumpid=reg_r1002_usen_c-001_title_r0002&lc=en&tmp_docname=c02629593#N1186

And here is my question:
I'm planning on upgrading my processor, since I burned CPU the my computer had. And I was thinking instead of buying the same CPU, I'd rather upgrade it but before I do that, I was wondering how do I determine if my computer's power supply can handle this new processor I'm thinking of replacing with.

Here is the information about the processor I'm thinking of buying and replacing the old one with: http://products.amd.com/pages/desktopcpudetail.aspx?id=640&AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1

Hopefully this information I have helps. Thank you!

It doesn't matter what power supply you use. Your motherboard will not support it due to it being a 125w CPU. You need to find a 95w one. Your system will only support 95w or lower cpu's in the cpu families listed on the HP specs.

Alright another question, and I guess this would educate me as well. Since my choices of AMD processors is 95W or below. And well, I don't really know how to determine like which processor is better than the other in terms of like X4 vs. X4 unlike X4 vs. X6. What am I suppose to look at if i'm looking for a processor that is better than the one my computer had? Thanks!

Well, when I tried it the power turns on but there's nothing coming out of the monitor, the fans in the tower just runs and everything seems to be running except for the monitor isn't showing anything. Well, what happened was I plugged a wrong cable to the CPU power port, instead of putting the 12V plug, I plugged in the 24V. I found this from a forum I asked before, at least that's what they said.
