Hep people. I built this computer around Christmas, and and windows 7 usually booted up from total shutdown in about 15 seconds. I have it in an SSD. But ever since I switched from a vga cable to dvi, it has been getting slower and slower, taking up to a minute to boot up.

System specs:
CPU: Intel core I5 3570k 3.40 ghtz
GPU: MSI PE 660 ti
RAM: G.skill ripjaws 8 gb (2x4)
SSD (OS is on here) Samsung 840 series
PSU: Rosewill HIVE 750 watts

An easy way to speedup slow start-up is to limit the start-up programs and services.:

Stop Unwanted startup programs:

Click Start > write msconfig and press Enter > Click on StartUp tab
Deselect the programs you want to stop
