I have a HP pavilion a6120n and it is a friend of mine. Now he got the computer used without a motherboard so he bough one for it. This motherboard was installed correctly by myself, I did it 2 times. When the computer boots it does not give a BIOS screen it does not even give off a beep. I reapplied themal compound on the motherboards CPU and GPU. I am 100% positive that the CPU is fully functional. Yet the motherboard is still now displaying anything. I am also considering a bad GPU I might attempt to install a GPU on the PCI slot. But I thought I would see if you guys think that the board is no longer good? Thank you! Patrick

You need to add ram and it has to be as per the motherboard specs. Also, the PSu would only be about 250 Watts and might not be adequate if you got a mid to high end PU.

You need to add details for all your hardware, manufacturer, model number etc.
