i am building a pc right now, mainly for gaming, and i was considering putting in a phenom ii x4 965 c3 black edition. on the product page it says that this cpu is only compatable with 1333MHz ram. i really want to use the 1600MHz ram because, obviously, it is faster. is it possible that i could overclock the cpu and then it would be compatable? i am using a liquid cooler, so overclocking is not an issue. thanks in advance.

Yes, you can use any speed RAM you like. The speed will usually remain at 1333MHZ (the Phenom II's memory controller's default) unless you O/C it. Modern MBs allow an easy O/C of memory in BIOS.
