Hello,
I play Black ops2 competitively and want my FPS to fix the fps at 125.

CPU: intel i5 750 2.67 Ghz quadcore
Ram: 6GB
SSD: intel 330 60G
GPU: EVGA Nvidia GTX660 OC(2GB ddr5, 1046Mhz GPU Clock Speed)
Monitor:BenQ XL2420T

i can cap the FPS on 75 with nv inspector with no problem.
however, when i try to fix the fps on 125,
it usually drops to about 7x when they are many tight action happening in a scene.

I dont care about effects and FXAA, so i turned them off as well as shadow and ragdoll.

so what hardware component should i change?
thanks

All graphic effects off:

What is the refresh rate of your monitor? At least give the model or something.

If you're that desperate for something that tiny(assuming you don't play competitively/professionaly), try turning down your resolution to 720p. Also, your CPU is a bit of a bottleneck(not a big one, but it's not ideal for your situation).

thanks for your reply.
my monitor model is "BenQ XL2420T". its refresh rate is 120Hz.
and Yes, i play competitively.

so i should chage my CPU and get 660Ti, or 670?
