Hi guys,

Just upgraded my graphics card and i'm giving my old GTX 550 TI to my brother. His current pc is connected to an old crt tv via an S-video cable. The 550 does not have an S-video output. Instead it has a mini HDMI or DVI-I. Is there anyway i can connect a mini HDMI or DVI-I to a scart or S-video connector?

Thanks in advance

Tom

It is possible but its not cheap. You need a scart to VGA cable (I did a google and maplin have them in at £68) then you will need a DVI to VGA adapter (They cost about £2 maybe less). TBH for that money you can buy a cheap LCD for that. I dont know of any other way of doing it sorry. If anyone else has any ideas that cost less please post.

Hi zink,

Thanks for the answer. I think that is the only way. Would be easier and possibly cheaper to just get a new tv.

Cheers,

Tom.
