Hello,
I have an MSI Z77A-G43 motherboard, it takes DDR3 DIMM 240pin ram. I have found some RAM to buy but I dont know about the compatibiliy.
The first set is: Corsair 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz XMS3 Memory.
The second is: Corsair XMS3 1x8GB PC3-12800 (DDR3-1333) 9-9-9-24/1.5v DIMM 240-pin.

Can I just put these in the RAM slots and then the motherboard will read all 14GB.

Feedback appreciated thank you.
(Also conformation that the RAM is compatible thank you)

First, it is not advised that you have different sizes of ram in your computer. You don't want a 3 module kit since your motherboard is Dual Channel.
And those two kits are both different timings meaning that they will have to automatically down clock to work together at all.

I would get one of these, they're both 16Gb, which is plenty for whatever you would want to do.
