Asus M2N-Sli won't post

I have an asus m2n sli that won't post. I recently upgraded to an am3 CPU on original bios. Plz reply soon

What CPU exactly. Did you update your BIOS beforehand? According to the CPU support list for that board, Phenom II processors need a 5001 BIOS or later.

No it is not updated. But wouldn't it still post
With a dated bios. My CPU is a phenom ii and is supported with an update plz reply fast

If you don't have a late enough BIOS, it won't recognize the "new" processor. That processor has to be in its library of instructions in order for it to allow the PC to POST. Do you still have your old processor? You can put that back in and see if it boots.
