Hi,
I am looking for a recommendation on a z77 motherboard that works well with vt-d to go along with my i7-3770 (not the k) please.

i am assuming the z77 chipset has better internals?!!

I know Intel has a line of supported motherboards but I'm interested to see what others here are recommending here without having to spend a fortune.

Thank,
Zack

I believe you are confused. A motherboard doesn't need to support VT-D. VT-D is "Intel Virtualization Technology". It is a feature of certain Intel CPU's, not a feature of motherboards.

Also, I would recommend the Gigabyte GA Z77X UD3H for a good z77 motherboard. I have one, and I love it!
