Budget GPU upgrade

My current system is really starting to show its age.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600+
Asus M2N68-AM Plus
2GB 333 MHz RAM
GeForce 7300 GT 256 MB
Win Vista 32-bit
450 or 500 watts no-name PSU (I would have to check)

I don't expect miracles here. Having a playable framerate (ie not a slideshow) in older games would be really enough. A lag here and there will not hurt. Talking about low to midish settings.

I'm half way through saving for a decent rig but still it's simply annoying that anything close to modern that I run on this thing just becomes pretty much unplayable straight away.

yes the card you linked is a very good upgrade from your current card. it will allow you to play old games on high settings and current games on low settings with playable frame rates. definitely worth buying.
