Want to Restore Windows 7 Files Without Wiping

Is there any way I can restore my Windows 7 OS back to a factory default state without deleting any of my files? The reason why is that there are a lot of things that are broken in my windows regarding to programs, such as Games of Windows crashes, whenever I try to install new software or update even my windows it does not complete. Even installing SolidWorks for my job, it has issues due to the Windows Installer, so I am stuck at work doing my job instead of at home. I have 1TB of memory and only 249GB is free.

The cause of my windows getting all messed up is because I changed the ownership rights over and over and cannot reset them back to the main user.

Try a system restore to a previous restoring point (if available). If not, you can try Windows repair from the Windows installation DVD.
