1.8v on a 1.5v mobo?

I am piecing together an inexpensive build primarily from old/leftover components. I am getting a new mobo and an A10-5800k, and I have just realized that the RAM I'm planning on using is 1.8v and the mobo manual states it is compatible with 1.5v.

Can I still use this RAM or will it damage the mobo?

It may work fine, but there is a pretty good chance that it will slowly burn out either your CPU or MoBo. I would spend the extra money and get this kit...
