I was originally looking for Corsair Enthusiast TX650M but I see rigs with somewhat similar specs but a higher watts. Should I stay with the 650 or go higher? This is my first build by the way. I am thinking of some overclocking.

Specs:
2GB EVGA GTX 660 Ti Superclocked, 28nm, 6008MHz GDDR5, GPU 980MHz, Boost 1059MHz
Intel i7 3770k
ASRock Z77 Extreme 6 S1155 Intel Z77 ATX Ivybridge Ready Motherboard
Corsair Vengance low profile 4x2gb
Seagate 1TB Sata 3
24x DVD+/-RW from Liteon IHAS124-04
Also do you recommend the heat sink that is bundled with the i7?

I appreciate your frustration, but bumping violates the forum rules at the top of this section. Please read them.

There are dozens of "power supply calculators" available online, into which you enter components and it suggests the power supply size. I would use one from a component manufacturer, not the PS maker. Try this:

(and no, it was not the bump that got my attention)

Are you sure they work, ~400 watts is probably not enough.

A decent 500w psu wil be enough though... But when a good 750w psu costs the same or only abit less, i'd get it

Thanks, more watts for less money! Once again, I put this topic as a question not a discussion. So you would get best solution
