Replacing hp laptop screen

I have a Hp pavillion laptop dv2700 special edition that I bought back in april 2008, the screen has broken down its not the display inverter. I am pretty certain this is the one:

The hardware store close by has offered to replace it for 60 pounds sterling, I am confident I can replace it myself, could you please direct me to one I could order online (I live in London) which would be compatible with my laptop.

eBay is almost always the place to go for parts such as this and yes it is very easy. The only hard part is pulling away the screen bezel without leaving any marks. Caution about the hinges on HP laptops as they are very easy to damage and the internal connectors especially for the keyboard are very fragile.

What are the specs of the screen, just to make sure I buy a compatible one.
