Help with a (hopefully) good £1000 gaming PC build?

Hi, in less than 6 weeks i'll be building a gaming PC that should cost around £1000. I hope it's not too early to have help with one as I don't think anything new will be released, and I don't want haswell because they will just cost loads when they come out for only about %10 better processing speed or whatever. This is my first build but I know how to build one and all that.

So, here's what I got so far:

Can someone help me with it? Maybe suggest better parts? It can't go over £1050 so yeah, thanks :)

I live in the U.K. and my preferences are intel over AMD but the AMD video card looks the same as a more expensive nvidia.

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/LSxc If you can keep things down to 750GB, I recommend the SSD/HDD hybrid by Seagate, that saves a fair amount of £££ just there, allows you to get an i7, the Zalman Z11 is half that of the NZXT and can (just) house a 7970. There's still £45-£95 to play with there too, which is enough for a Sabretooth Z77 if you want it.

Thanks, so will the PSU be defective, because the other person said XFX GPU's get hotter, so will the XFX PSU get hotter, also is it enough wattage?

The estimated wattage is 436W, but the brand of GPU will not affect the PSU, allowing for a 20% extra wattage capability, a 600W PSU would be enough.

Alright, thanks. So everything is good now, no bad parts or anything I'm guessing. Is it possible for some settings i'll be able to run games on? Like crysis 3 :D

Thanks to everyone again.

Well, it's an i5 3570k, not i7 but will I be able run games like those on ultra? I'll also be doing video editing, photoshop ect.

Oh yeah my bad (facepalm) - as teemogeek said an i5 is still very capable of playing high settings when coupled with a beasty GPU such as the 7970

Awesome, can't wait for maxed out games :D

So, is this ok to build in May, no better parts for the same sort of price being released? If not then, I might start ordering now.

Also, thanks to everyone's help in this thread :)

High? This is more than capable than running FC3, BF3 in ultra! And high/ultra with an eyefinity setup! :D

eyefinity give you the option to stretch your screen up to 2-3 dispay. that means a higher resolution and aspect ratio.

try to google eyefinity, you'll see some sweet setup, its like having your own flight sim at home.

Holy crap, even though it looks awesome, I won't be using it, but still it's nice having the option :)

Is the NZXT Phantom 410 case quiet? And cool? Because I don't want to spend £100 on something that isn't sufficient, if there are better cool looking cases, can anyone suggest them, because the 410 does look cool, but I will only buy it if it is actually worth the £100. That's a lot of money just for a case :/

try the NZXT Silencio. I forgot the exact name but its near that. I find that case classy and NZXT is a good manufacturer of cases with good airflow

Hm, the only thing from NZXT is the 'Source' and the 'Switch'. I found a coolermaster silencio if that's what you mean..?

Hm, yeah the reviews do say it is very quiet. But no window and doesn't look that nice in my opniion, too basic....

I might go with the phantom, I'll probably start a new thread on opinions on it..#
Thanks
