memory problems with new ram

hey guys, so I got a new comp with windows 7 64 bit professional and I'm having RAM problems. Each stick works individually but I never get more than 16gb 8 usable. I got 3 8gb stick of Ram

What version of Windows 7 do you have? Most new computers ship with Windows 7 Home Premium which has a cap of 16GB, and Windows 7 Home Standard caps at 8GB.
