Currently I have an ANTEC 900 case with the side door fan. All fans are functioning and working as far as I can see.
Processor: AMD Phenom 2 x6 1100T Black Edition
Heat Sink: Stock
Memory: 16gb (4GB x4) ripjaws
GPU: EVGA 560 ti 2gb
HDD: 2x 120gb OCZ Vertex 3 SSD in raid 0

I used to never have issues which my system crashing while playing games like BF3 and Sleeping Dogs until recently. I intstalled the new Tomb Raider and started playing and got a BSOD. So I started monitoring my CPU temp and was very suprised. My idle cpu temperature fluxuates 41C and 43C. When I launch Tomb Raider it jumps to 73C and then blue screens after about 5-10 mins of gameplay. After reading online, I came to the conclusion that I need to upgrade my heatsink. So I just purchased the Noctura NH-D14 and am waiting its arrival.

My question is, why all of a sudden is my cpu overheating if i didn't have any issues before playing BF3 and SLeeping dogs for a few hours at a time?

the cpu fan could have started to give out and not spin up properly. The thermal paste may have dried up or heat sink could have been bumped and lost good contact with the cpu. dust could plug the fins on the cpu cooler and there are more reasons besides these. as you can see there can be many different reasons. hope this helps.

I'm glad you brought up the thermal paste, I took the heat sink off yesteday and took off the old thermal paste and applied new. And today I cleaned the whole case and its still acting the same way.
Heres my current HW Monitor:

It's plugged in to the 4 pin connector that says CPU Fan 1. The fan is spinning.

Ok so I got my temp stable. Its not 32C idle and while i played tomb raider the highest i saw was 45C. Come to find out, I took the heat sink off and under the fan there was a bunch of dust stopping the air flow. Once i removed it ever thing is fine. BUT my pc still blue screens while im in game play. I have the game installed on a regular sata drive that I run it from. But my primary drives are 2 SSD's 120gb in raid 0. I thought it was the firmware maybe, and I just upgraded it and it still blue screens. Ran disk checks and everything came back fine.
In the following picture "temperature #2" is 124.5C. I have no idea what that could be.....

the 124°C temp is just a temp that is read wrong or not read at all and is defaulting to some ridiculous number. don't worry about it. have you installed the latest graphics drivers? also check your event viewer to see if there is errors in there.
