Hello I'm a 17 years old trying to build its own computer. I couple of weeks ago i bought a computer for $150 on craiglist what it came with it was a 1080p 20" hp monitor and the desktop. I bought a gtx 650 ti gpu and it seem like its been bootlenecking by the motherboard as it overheats, and my computer shuts down because of blue screens and memory errors. It seems that the problem is the ddr2 ram and the mainboard so I decided to buy a new one, and in the future a new cpu.
Currently my computer specs are
mis 785GTM-E45 motherboard http://www.msi.com/product/mb/785GTM-E45.html
Athlon ii x2 3.0Ghz dual core cpu
2gb ddr2 ram
windows 7 32 bits
450 dynex psu
Gtx 650 ti Gpu
1tb Hard drive
What I'm planning to do is buy this motherboard http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1470687&Sku=M452-6238
as it supports my cpu, and buy this ram
http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-PC10600-1333MHz-DDR3-Memory/dp/B001V62Z0K/ref=sr_1_4?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1364159386&sr=1-4&keywords=desktop+ddr3
Is there something that i NEED TO KNOW before buying this is the ram compatible and everything that i have is compatible with the motherboard that I'm gonna buy.
Also I need a tutorial and things that I need to know before changing my motherboard and how to change it. Also I don't have a lot of money that's why the things that I'm buying are cheap. My computer right now is not working as I expected too I'm not getting good fps in modern games so please help me.
