Hey everyone,

I'm somewhat new at building computers. From what I've scraped here and there from forums and such, I've coughed up this rig, please let me know if it rings OK, if everything is compatible, if you'd pick something else, etc. Much appreciated!

Processor: Intel i5-3570k
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H
Operating system: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 - 64 bit
RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance LP 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM (16 GB total)
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 650 2048MB
HDD: 1TB 7,200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s
Case: NZXT Phantom 410 Mid Tower
Power supply: eXtreme Power Plus 600W ATX
Monitor: Asus VH232H 23-Inch Full-HD LCD
CD reader: Lite-On Super AllWrite 24X SATA DVD+/-RW
WIFI card: TP-LINK TL-WN951N

Would you guys include some extra cooling? Or the GPU/CPU/Case fans should be enough? Do I need that much wattage? My main target is to play Arma 3, BF4, etc. at reasonable FPS.
Again, many thanks!

Matias

Thanks for your answer. I'm in Boston and my budget is $(1000-1200). I really don't have a deadline, will just take my time building it.

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm thinking about going with the first option (overclocking). Couple of questions: would it be worth adding more RAM to 16 GB? Also, I'd prefer Windows 7 instead of 8...what do you think?

Thanks again,

Matias
