Hi I have a few questions about what components to buy

Budget: £700

Used for video editing, Gaming top of the market games and other software such as the Adobe Suit.

My List so far:
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivy Bridge) = £167
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-Z77-DS3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) ATX = £69
Graphics Card: SAPPHIRE TECHNOLOGY Radeon HD 7950 Vapor-X- 3 GB = £245
RAM: Patriot PVI38G186C9K 8GB (2x 4GB) = £40
Case: Sharkoon T9 Value Blue Edition PC Housing Midi Tower ATX = £51
PSU: 550W XFX Pro Core Edition 80PLUS Bronze Power Supply = £48
Storage Drive: Western Digital 1TB internal Hard Drive - Caviar Blue (3.5 inch) = £55
Optical Drive: LG 24x Internal DVDRW SATA = £16

My question is I am unsure which PSU to buy because I heard that the graphics card I have picked requires 2 2x8PCIe ports but I do not want to go over 550W if I can help it. Not sure if thats true but would it be a problem? Also if you can think of some better alternatives for anything in my list then please mention them! Thank you :)

Actually the sapphire vapor x 7950 uses 1 8 pin and 1 6 pin power connector. Thus, that psu will be fine.
The build looks great.
