Please help me decide.
I am between the following two displays, but if you have another that is equal or better in reviews or quality, please suggest:

Vizio 42" http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16889262224

Sony 40" http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA1CZ0CY1004

I'm currently deciding between these two, and I hear Vizios are made with Sony parts of some kind etc.
Like I said, I'm open to other suggestions given evidence of great reviews or testimonials.

Thank you!

LED TV's will be the best in that lighting. By rule of thumb, Plasma = Bright Light, LED/LCD for Dim Light. The LED has the best power savings features, and the plasma has the fastest "refresh" rates. Plasma does have a reputation for "screen burnin" if you are on the same channels all the time.

Samsung makes great LED TV's - some of the best out there. The 32" model above should work great!

The Room is mostly dimly lit, controlled by heavy drapes when needed.
