I have question about future storage. When SSD fully replacing mechanical HDD? It will like when earlier 500GB HDD was expensive (approximately $120 in 2005) and later 500GB HDD was cheaper ($60 in 2013, I am bought them with $89 price tag in January 2012 after Thailand flood). It is true?

Post your opinion about that

It won't happen until SSD is almost same price as an HDD of the same capacity. Currently an SSD costs approximately five times more than an HDD of the same capacity, so it will be a long time before the prices are equal or nearly equal.

Demand for SSDs needs to increase a great deal to make the price come down.

I think next 5-10 year, 256GB SSD was $90-$150 when current 256GB SSD priced $175-$315.

Oh yeah, when SSD become write capable so SSD durable as HDD when it often writing?
