I'm planning a mid-range gaming build. Fortunate to live within driving distance of a Microcenter. Here's what I've got so far:

$190 - i5 3570k
$70 - Asrock Z77 Pro4
$55 - 8GB memory (2x4) Kingston
$60 - 500GB HDD Western Digital Blue
$75 - case Antec Three Hundred Two
$65 - power Corsair CX500M
$17 - DVD burner
===========
$532 Total (without graphics card)

Which graphics card would go well with this? Looking for a single card. Max resolution 1920x1080 to match monitor. Not planning to overclock, at least not right away. Looking around, I expect a budget of around $200. Don't want cheap quality but don't want to pay more than needed. Thoughts?

The Asus card actually has 1GB. The GeForce has 2GB and costs about $20 less.
I've heard 1GB is enough for 1920x1080.

Also considering Radeon 7870. Not sure if video is the best place to spend extra $ for this configuration, though.

Depends on how much you want to spend. This is what I say:

>= $200: Radeon 7850
<= $250: Radeon 7870 XT
<=$300: Radeon 7950, GTX 660TI
<= $350: GTX 670
$400+: Radeon HD 7970

I would not recommend a GTX 650 or GT640, the 7770 is pretty decent.
