I bought a new ASUS Radeon HD 7770 Ghz edition to replace my faulty 5750. I plugged it in, checked if the fan is working and went straight into a game of Battlefield 3. My card made a noise like a hairdryer and i instantly tabbed out. I looked at msi afterburner and it said my card was running at 107*C. I found out that it runs at 45*C while idle. This messes up gameplay badly. What is the problem and is there any way to fix it?

My fan runs at 100% during gameplay (what of it) and 10% idle.

Many people will have this problem and their fans will be at 30% (the default) the whole time. Unless it's a miss read the card has something wrong with it and I would RMA it. People like ASUS cards so you can try them again, if your pissed at them and want a different brand, they should let you do that too.
