I decided to overclock NB frequency to 2600mhz from the stock 2000mhz. However, I wanted to know if it was okay to undervolt that? Stock voltage was at 1.0V, I raised it to 1.175V when I raised the frequency to 2600mhz but I've read from a few places that other people were bumping their CPU/NB voltage to 1.3V with 2600mhz. Any one know if any ramifications come from undervolting the CPU/NB?

Current hardware:

Phenom II 4x BE (OC 3.8ghz, 1.375V)
motherboard: M5A97 EVO
memory: 8gb ddr3

I hope that made sense
thanks guys.

Nb is your memory controller, so undervolting could cause you ram to be unstable, theres no point in being stingy with voltage, you won't damage your hardware but you may get bsods, or worse performance memory wise
