I have a weird problem with...something.....lol
I can't OC past 3.6 ghz.
Yes I am using a stock cooler, however my coolermaster chasis is well ventilated and I idle around 36 C when I OC to 3.8 ghz. So temps aren't a problem.
However, I STILL bluescreen randomly when overclocked at 3.8 and I really don't know why.
Other specs
750 watt psu
8gb ddr3 RAM
Gigabyte mobo (just came out a few years ago, forget model but it isn't the problem)
What can I do to fix this? I really want to buy a liquid cooler but if I can't OC past 3.6 on a non temp related issue then there's no point :/
