Opinion on Micro atx and atx

I'm building my first custom computer but stuck on what size motherboard I should use. It's going to be for graphic design and gaming. At this point now, I'm interested in buying the Asus maximus IV gene micro atx mobo, using the fractal design arc mini case. The only reasons I'm staying micro atx, is because of the case sizes. Do you think its worth getting a micro atx motherboard, just because of the convenient size?

Other than a different number of expansion slots, the size of the board makes no difference. As long as the MB has the features and components you want/need, get which ever size fits your situation the best. If you plan on adding a 2nd gfx card however, the larger board usually has the PCIe x16 slots separated further between each other for better cooling.
