Hello I'm upgrading my graphics card from a EVGA 2GB GTX 560. I would like to go with a GTX 690 or Titan but thats a little out of my budget. So I was going to go with a GTX 680 as that seemed like the next best thing but after some bills I wont be able to get that either. Should I settle with a GTX 670 or something in that price range or should I wait about a month and get a GTX 680? I like Nvidia but if its worth it I will go with AMD. I just would like a graphics that can run any game including Crysis 3 at the highest setting. Thank you.

Everyone above me seems to be saying a 670. I happen to have one 7970 and it can run on highest (the only thing turned down is AA, cant even notice it). They are all around the same pricing (except for the SLI, that will get REALLY expensive and will require a good PSU). You decide which is best from here.

I read that crisis 3 uses more than 2gb vram. That probably means that future games will use more than 2gb vram. Should I go with with the hd 7970 because it has 3gb or should I find a gtx 670 with 4gb?
