What's holding my pc back

So i've come to know I have a decent - good system for gaming. I'm running bf3 mp at 80 fps, crysis 3 about the same or a bit lower, then I play arma 2/3 mp and I get 15-20 fps which is nearly unplayable for me and takes the enjoyment right out of the game. So what's holding me back from running this game well? My spec is:
Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1045T Processor (6 CPUs), ~2.7GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
1tb hard drive
GPU: Radeon HD 7870
Motherboard: N-Alvorix-RS880-uATX

If there's any other information that needs to be provided let me know.

arma 3 is still in beta phase and poorly optimized. weve heard of this before in these forums. guys can play other games fine but the arma engine is very poor. its the game. not your hardware.

Similar opinion to ARICH, if your PC is running Crysis 3 at a decent clip then its powerful enough for ARMA.
Suspect its the game, not the PC. Might want to lower settings.
