do you need a cpu cooler? if you dont plan on overclocking most likely not. the stock coolers typically perform more than adequately. i would buy a corsair 840pro or 830 (or possibly 830 normal) over an ocz drive after the merger with indlelinx. another good choice are drives by intel.

16gb is a bit overkill for ram. you can make due with 8.

If he's buying a K series CPU I'd assume he's overclocking. I'd suggest going with the Noctua NH-D14 over the H100i, it tends to perform on par or even a little bit better. Pre-filled watercooling loops really aren't that great.

Wouldn't you prefer to have a proper gaming mouse/keyboards (or do you already have one?). I also can't imagine playing Crysis 3 on a trackpad!

Don't go for a Cooler Master power supply, they're notoriously really bad. Do you really want to risk your 2000$+ worth of hardware being damaged by a bad power supply? Go for something from Seasonic/Corsair. The Corsair AX 860 would be perfect for your needs in my opinion: http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Professional-860-Watt-Platinum-AX860/dp/B00A0HZMKG/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1364741815&sr=8-7&keywords=corsair+ax It also has a nice black/red theme which goes well with your graphics cards and motherboard.

The review shows that GTX 680s in SLI get about 40 FPS average. This is with a Sandy Bridge-E processor (the i7-3960X) which does do a little better in Crysis 3 than the 3770k, so depending on how comfortable you are with fairly low FPS (maybe 30-35) you might have to turn some of the settings down. You've got to keep in mind though that Crysis 3 (as with the original Crysis, not so much Crysis 2) is a game designed really for hardware in 2-3 years time. It still looks absolutely stunning on medium settings (which I'm sure you will do better than anyway).
