RAID 0 TRIM on Sabertooth X79?

Hi,
I have 2 Crucial C300 64 GB SSDs on RAID 0, Sabertooth X79, Win8 64-bit.
I understand that these drives are running with basic garbage collection and performance plummets rapidly during use. This problem was not present when the drives were running independently (not RAIDed) so my guess is TRIM is needed badly.
Searching the web has been confusing, so an explanation as simple as possible will be appreciated.

Thanks. Trying RSTe V11.7.0.1030 now. Fingers crossed

Doesn't install. Tried from Device Manager and Windows crashed. Recovery mode restored to previous checkpoint.
From what I read around the web I need a modified "OROM" to flash the BIOS. But I don't want to do that unless there is no other choice.

Have you modified the .inf file adding the entries for Device ID 2822 to Device ID 2826 ?

Where? you mean the RST drivers, right? Which file do i need to modify? and do I need to use device manager or the installer should work?

No, ignore my post. You're right, it wouldn't work without a modded BIOS.
