I'm getting a Lenovo with the following specs:
CPU: Intel i7 3520M (2 cores) @ 2.9 Ghz
Graphics Card: Intel HD 4000 (built in)
15.6" screen (what is the maximum resolution for games?)
Windows 8
8 GB RAM

What is the highest resolution I can play BO2 without any special extra fx and maintain a good ping of 30-40? I don't want laggy gameplay.

Also, would I need a cooler for my laptop? idk anything about laptop coolers yet.

It will play the game on the lowest settings at a low resolution. But honestly its integrated graphics its not meant for games really.

Lowest settings is ok with me, but can it play higher than 800x600? My 2.33 Ghz Radeon HD 5450 computer (8 GB RAM) has a gfx card a little "worse" than the HD 4000, and of course 2.9 > 2.33 Ghz.... it can run BO2 at 800x600 flawlessly at around 50-60 fps, then really starts to dip at the next higher resolution.

I think you could manage 1024x768 with lower settings. My wife plays the sims 3 on her 4000 intel and it works ok
