Hey there,
So I recently upgraded my PC with a XFX R7970 Black Edition graphics card and was wondering what sort of temperatures I should expect it to reach under load. The PC itself is a homebuilt one that was made back in may 2011 and specs are as follows:

XFX R7970 Double Dissipation @Core Clock 1000MHz + 3GB DDR5 @ 5700MHz (OC)
Intel i7 2600k @ 3.4Ghz
GIGABYTE PH67-UD3 motherboard
2x 4GB Corsair ram @ 1333 Mhz
Noctua NH-U9B SE2 heatsink
750 watt Power supply
Casecom KM 6788 case

CPU idle temperature is 25°C
GPU idle temperature is 34°C

After an hour of Crysis 2 on Ultra settings:

CPU 60°C
GPU 77°C

I would post CPUID screen dump but forums wont let me yet! :sarcastic:

There is a couple of things I am concerned about, mainly that im not sure if things are getting a little too hot for comfort? The GPU seems toasty to me and I am almost certain that my CPU should not be hitting 60 under load with my current heatsink. Additionally there seems to be an anomaly in CPUID's results in regards to one of my systems fans, 675000 RPM? What?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hello thanks for speedy reply! This is reassuring however the card does seem to get reasonably loud when the fans kick in, would additional case cooling or a new case help in this situation?
