My boot drive is plugged in SATA port #1 and my other hard drive is plugged in SATA port #2.

I just bought a new LiteOn Dvd-drive, and plugged it in SATA port #2, changing my other hard drive to SATA port #3.

My LiteOn won't work, so I decided to plug it in the SATA port #1, so moving my boot drive to SATA port #2.

Since then I get the DEGRADED RAID MIRROR flashing in red on my computer startup. I plugged the SATA cables where they were plugged before all that, and I still get the same problem.

How can I fix this problem? Thanks.

When using RAID, the RAID controller knows which port drives belong on. You should not switch ports around on RAIDED drives as this breaks the RAID as you just found out.

Check your motherboard or RAID manual. Sometimes you will have an option in the RAID BIOS to redetect the correct order of the RAIDED drives based on the metadata that the RAID controller put on the drive.
