ISP Bandiwth monitor is showing I'm downloading too much

hey. I bee n having a problem with my isp provider for months now. Basically, their isp bandwith monitor showed I downloading 900mb yesterday. But I'm using a 3rd party software and it says I only use 144mb (I was watching a 24 min documentary on youtube btw). Could it I have some sort virus on my computer? Or maybe it has to do with ISP throttling when trying to download or watch something(sorry if this doesnt make sense. Wasn't sire how to explain it)

Have you tried using another tool to verify that you have the correct download? Perhaps your program is giving erroneous results.

I don't think so. Last month, both the 3rd and my isp bandwith monitor where equally match

I guess it could be a virus of some sort, but most of them are used to spam other computers with email or used as part of a DDOS attack. Both of these would be uploading data, not downloading.

You might have to wait for the next month and see if your's and your ISP's bandwidth syncs up again.
