Looking for gaming monitor

I currently have an Asus G74SX gaming notebook, which is about over a year old. I'm looking to upgrade by building a gaming desktop in a few weeks.

But right now, I want a monitor to upgrade from my 1600 x 900 notebook.

I've done some research about monitors and I'm still not sure what's best.

Here's what I thought were good:
Asus VG248QE
Asus VS248H-P
BenQ RL2450HT
BenQ XL2420T

Here's also some questions:
1080 or 1200?
TN or IPS?
Single or dual or triple? I never really understood dual or triple monitors though, it just looked cool.

League of Legends is my main game but I do play other games as well like SC2, D3, CS, Dota 2, and etc.

Also, I know that this is the wrong section but if possible, suggestions for my upcoming build would be helpful too.

Must be Intel and Nvidia graphics. Around $1500.
Case will be Corsair Obsidian 650D.
Trying to stay in the Asus brand for most parts to make the computer look nice and consistent but if someone can explain to me on why different brands in different parts will be better, that would be helpful.

Thanks in advance!
