Hello Tom's Hardware. I'm having a problem with connecting to my network. I'm using a wired connection and I either get "Unidentified Network" (see screenshot) or it doesn't recognize the cable is plugged in at all. When I go to the Local Area Connection properties I see "Packets sent" going up but my "Packets received" is at 0. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit OS on a computer I put together. Previous to this it was working fine for 2+ years. Just happened suddenly, I was using my on-board ethernet but I have also tried an Ethernet card to no avail. I'm the only one on the network that has this problem. I'm posting from a MAC on wireless and i have other computers/devices on wired and wireless connection.

I've tried:
Reformating
Restore point (before reformating)
I do not have Bonjour in msconfig services
I've checked the DCHP - it is set to automatic
I've installed drivers - Here
I've reset the Winsock and such.

Here is my ipconfig /all log:

you are not getting an IP from the router.

have you tried assigning a static IP to the computer?

are there lights on the NIC?

have you checked the cable?

did you try another network port on the router?

if you open network and sharing can you click the link for unidentified network, if so pick the correct one, home work or other.
if not open device manager and delete the nic, click the find new hardware and and it will reinstall it.
