Help me pick a gaming monitor ??

I am in demand for a great gaming monitor . 27 inches is what Im after .IPS also is a must . Good quality $500-$1000 ... Please help me ok .

I have decent hardware that I will update in the future . 2xgtx 580's overclocked editions . i7 3770k 16 GB memory . 250 gb intel SSD.

I am after a good gaming monitor . I have been looking at this one

8 ms response time is that pretty bad ?
And its 60 hz ... Is that to slow ?? Because thats what this montior is .

I would try to stick with something that is 120+ Hz and around 1-2 ms. That makes a good gaming monitor. I would stay away from anything above 4 ms.
