This had occured within windows 7 and windows 8, also with 2 different graphics cards. originally had a gtx 560 ti now running a gtx 670
I have ran memtest, p95 torture tests, 3dmark, and i cannot get it to crash doing this. I'm completely lost to what is causing it since it seems to be when the computer isn't in use.

System specs:

gigabyte z68ud3
2600k i7 overclocked at 4.0ghz on a corsair h100i
16gb of gskill ares at 1866mhz
evga gtx670 ftw
ocz 700w psu.
2xkingston v300 128gb ssd's in raid 0
2x500gb wd blue drives in raid 0

all temps are stable and fine. system temp is around 30 degrees celcius processor and graphics around 25* idol.

Also this occured before oc'ing and with out the raid 0 set ups.

Any one got an idea? i want to say its a psu issue. but i don't want to start replacing parts if i don't need to.

Thanks in advance

It might very well be the PSU but it is worth doing a little more troubleshooting before going there.
Goto Control Panel, Admin Tools
Click Event Viewer
Go through the Windows Logs and Application and Services Logs.
See if it lists any errors here
