Howdy,

I finished my first build about 2 years ago for storage/HTPC and now want to get into some non-console gaming but I need a graphics card, I've been using on board with a Z68 mobo. I don't plan on getting into the Crysis and Battlefields level of graphics, more like Far Cry, Arkham City, Mass Effect. I checked out Tom's list for cards for March and feel like I should be aiming towards Radeon HD 7750 or 7770.

I also read a lot of positives about Sapphire in particular but not sure if they're worth a $5-15 difference over MSI or HIS for the same chipset. Price isn't a huge issue but I don't want to pay for more than I need. Also, not sure if it matters, I'll be using 1, possibly 2, 24" 1080p monitors.

I'm hoping for some advice, guidance, suggestions, etc. on the graphics card and possibly ideas for near future system upgrades.

My system:
Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
Intel Core i5-2500K
ASUS Z68 mobo
8 GB Corsair RAM DDR3
2x1TB WD Caviar Green HDDs SATA III 6GB/s (will get SSD for OS in a few months, undecided size)
OCZ ModXStream Pro 500W PSU

7770 is fine for the type of system you want and sapphire is a good brand..
