PowerSupply noise on a GTX Titan

Hi guys,

I've recently installed a new GTX Titan on my machine and my power supply started to to produce a frequent strange noise.

What I've noticed is that, when the PS produces the noise, GPU utilization on MSI increases from zero to full and when the noise goes away, the card go back to zero utilization.

I have a Corsair TX650W. What could be the issue?

You have enough wattage that is for sure the power supply requirements are 600 min. Are you experiencing a whine like sound?

yes. The strange issue is that when the GPU stays idle for 30 secs and then Power supply does that strange noise at the same time the GPU goes to full for 2 seconds. This over and over

hmm yea that sounds like coil whine to me. When you put stress on your machine your power supply starts to whine. Did this happen prior to the titan install.
