I'm posting this from the main forum page, so have no idea if it will appear when I hit publish.

Whenever I try to enter a specific forum section, I get a 500 error. Also, my thread tracking box is gone.

I can access any particular thread from the moderation alert panel OR from the activity list on the front page.

Once I navigate from this thread I won't be able to find it again, without a link... so I will bookmark it, which works.

This is not a browser or computer specific issue. I'm not sure how widespread it is right now, but I suspect it is happening to a large number of users, but not all.

I only made it to this thread because I looked up your post history and clicked through. I can't hardly do anything at the moment unless I know the exact URL for a thread. Everything is broken.

Odd huh? Some people seem to be responding to threads though, unless they are all jumping to them from the front page list. I PMed Joe also... messaging works.

In reviewing with the team, we were not impacted directly by the massive cyberattack that occurred last night. There were some internal network issues which resulted in minor patches of instability, but the network center was able to resolve these. All should be well now. :)

Which, by the way, is totally not the case for a number of sites and ISPs targeted by that massive cyberattack Brett alluded to. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-21954636

Corporate and criminal interests conspiring to engage in cyber warfare? Sounds cyberpunk/Shadowrun to me. ;)

Hi Joe :)

I still had a few problems this morning with the site (with around one in 5 clicks) but all seems fine now (8 hours later)... other sites are OK now as well....

All the best Brett :)

Well, it was a couple hours yesterday that everything was messed up. I'm not seeing much trouble today yet. It kind of degenerated over time yesterday... started with a 500 error occasionally, then half the time, then all the time.

Should be totally fine now. Thanks all for the heads-up on this!
