Is PNY pretty good? Specifically this one
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133480
Im not buying it from newegg, but the price is 390$ for a GTX 680 PNY after rebate and comes with assassins creed and a 1 Year Manufacturer warranty.

I was not to sure about getting a blower type reference card, but this one seems alright to me 390$ for a 680 seems like a great deal not sure if i should jump especially with only a 1 year warranty.

EDIT:
"Really dont know what to do at this points, Wait for better cards, jump on this 680 for 390$ with 1 year warranty, wait for a deal on a 670/7970, or just straight up buy a 660ti or 7950 because its the best Price/Performance that gives me exactly what i need right now."

PC info for those that will ask
i5 3570k, 750watt psu, Thor v2 Case (*Very cold), Asus P8Z77-V LK Mobo.

Its probably overkill since i only game at 1920x1080p on a 60hz screen.
Dont play any fps games but i want to play elderscrolls mmo coming out at the end of the year, just completed a new build with no graphics card and im using the hd 4000 lol, it runs starcraft perfectly on medium though ^,^ is a 660ti a better choice in this situation? I will be picking up BF4 When it comes out.

All the 670's i see are like 370. This 680 seems like a good deal, i just dont know how good the blower type fans are, only catch is it comes with a 1 year warranty. I feel like i should just wait till the next chips, maybe buy some cheap graphics card so i can play some games now, everyone's been saying amds good.

Really dont know what to do at this points, Wait for better cards, jump on this 680 for 390$ with 1 year warranty, wait for a deal on a 670/7970, or just straight up buy a 660ti or 7950 because its the best Price/Performance that gives me exactly what i need right now.

I would stay away from that 680. What I'm doing is waiting for a sale on a 670 that I like and trust (EVGA, gigabyte, msi) and when the 700 series is out ill probably just sell my 670. Of course you could go for a 660ti now and then upgrade to 700 series, but the price difference between selling off your 670 or 660ti would be the same as buying them so you may as well go with the 670.

That does change things quite a bit, but then this deal recently popped up

http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/92170/newegg-sapphire-radeon-hd-7950-3gb-384bit-gddr5-pci-express-video-card-bioshock-infinite-crysis-3-pc-game-coupons?page=2#comments

a sapphire 7950 for 270... decisions decisions..

Absolutely get that PNY GTX 680. They have a lifetime warranty and that deal is outstanding ... the lowest price anywhere for the best video card value. The GTX 680 is going to be much better than a third tier 7950, and will give you the option to enable PhysX, Adaptive VSync, TXAA, etc.

I have a PNY card and did a lot of research before I purchased. The lifetime warranty is great and their customer support for RMA's is easy and painless. Just a quick e-mail got me a no-questions-asked RMA. Oh, and if it means anything to you, PNY is an American company out of Brooklyn, NY, just like the Beastie Boys yo.

Uhh just no.gtx 680 and deal shouldnt be mentioned in the same sentence. My 7950 overclocked for $289 will toast that 680 even when overclocked.Anyone can get what they want it is there money but a 7950 is faster once overclocked and $200 less. You seem to be quite the fanboy for sure

Not looking at it from either camp since i own both at this present time.Buy a 7950 once overclocked to max nothing can beat it other then a maxed overclocked 7970 and even then its not a very noticable difference. Not only that you get an extra gb of vram giving it a longer lifespan then the gtx 680

A more accurate view is that the GTX 680 sits right between the performance of a 7970 and a 7970 GHz edition, depending on the game of course. At this time on Newegg, the cheapest 7970 after rebate is $380, while most are at $400 or more. A GTX 680 for $390 is a great deal.

Ok for starters i never insulted you are you serious?second i said a maxed overclocked 7950 will beat a maxed overclocked gtx 680 what you are showing are stock out of the box numbers if anything that is misleading. If Op is willing to overclock there is no competition here 7950 wins hands down.$200 cheaper and just as fast if not faster when both are maxed overclocked.I also guarentee you since that 680 is a reference card it overclocks like crap to.nothing misleading here look at this video this is more proof then your silly stock chart. You want gtx 680 maxed overclocked vs 7950 maxed overclocked here you go they trade blows so before you tell me imislead anyone do more research.stock for stock ofcourse the 680 wins please read closer.anyways heres a video of how miselading i am lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcKWzVkgspc
