AMD FX-4100 Multiplier won't go above 12.5

Simply put my AMD fx-4100 won't go above a multiplyer of 12.5, and as a result I can't reach speeds about 2.5 Gz without increasing the bus speed. Heat has been an issue in the past so I'm not really trying to overclock anything.

What is your MoBo? Do you have the newest version of BIOS for it?

No overclocking at all?
No touching of anything at all in the BIOS?
Sounds much like a cpu that's throttling due to an unstable OC/unstable temperatures.

Do as 8350 suggests and give us your mobo and on your part to look for the latest update if you don't have it already.
