Hey guys, just curious I know you need a UEFI motherboard to get past the 2.19TB partition limit for OS boot install. But what about just a motherboard with BIOS? I want to know for example, two 2TB hard drives in Raid 0 for OS just using it for a storage partition in disk management. Can I do this? I want to just two 2TB green WD drives internal. Put them on Sata II ports, Raid them then set it as usable storage in disk management. I don't want to buy this though if it won't work. Can't find the numbers on max storage windows 7 ultimate can handle.

Has anyone done this yet and confirm it works? Thanks!

Going off memory of a old server 2000 course taken 12 years ago. But the NTFS file system supports volumes in the exabyte size. But you will be fine with 16tb or less which is the largest i have used on a windows 7 build.
